General description
Model MM612HJF-F-C-02, is a single flow path twin barrel marine fire fighting monitor, designed for applications, such as Fire Fighting Vessels, Supply Vessels and Ocean going Tugs. It is electric hydraulic remote controlled and fitted with Jet/Fog type water nozzle and air aspirating type foam pipe. Adjustment of the water jet pattern from straight stream to fog shape and change between water and foam is by push buttons on the monitor control panel. This special capability makes the remote controlled nozzle a far better tool against fire than more conventional fixed nozzle monitors equipped with a jet deflector.

Remote control system
The monitor Jet Fog nozzle and change-over valve are controlled by a self-contained hydraulic system. The complete system with power unit and control valves are mounted within a stainless steel cabinet and fitted on the monitor. Two hydraulic motors operate monitor movement and cylinders control the valve actuator and Jet/Fog nozzle. Remote control is then by Joy-stick and push buttons.
