Corona update

Subject: Promac is still open for business and services.

 

Dear Madam, Sir,

 

In this letter I will explain which measures Promac has taken in the context of the unprecedented situation we all are facing due to the Covid-19 virus and in which way Promac employees are doing their utmost to support our clients.

 

Promac strictly follows the measures issued by the Dutch government (see also Rijksoverheid.nl, https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19). These measures are of course subject to change.

 

Our office and workshop are still in operation, although the employees present are limited to the necessary minimum. Most of the project-engineers are working at home, having direct access to the Promac system and database.
As a result we can handle all requests for maritime equipment, repairs, spare parts and consumables.

After office hours our phone numbers for service are as usual:

Enquiries for Services such as repairs (service@promac.nl)

  • In all cases Promac will follow the measures issued by the Dutch government.
  • Our workshop is fully operational and Promac is able to perform as usual although delays may occur due to availability of spare parts and components.
  • On-board repairs and at yards abroad are for now excluded.
  • On-board repairs and at yards in The Netherlands are to be considered case-by-case by Promac management.
  • Enquiries for spare parts and consumables (parts@promac.nl)
  • Will be handled and taken care off as best we can.
  • However a delay must be taken into account due to close-downs of sub-suppliers and transport restrictions, especially in case of foreign sub-suppliers. If so, we will inform you.


Enquiries for maritime equipment (info@promac.nl)

  • Will be handled and taken care off as best we can.
  • However a delay must be taken into account due to shut-downs of sub-suppliers and transport restrictions, especially in case of foreign sub-suppliers. If so, we will inform you.


Regarding pending deliveries

  • We will keep you informed on pending deliveries. However, delays due to shut-downs and transports restrictions are unfortunately increasing, especially in case of foreign sub-suppliers. If so, we will inform you.


Finally, if you have any question a/o remark, please do not hesitate to contact us. Promac will do the utmost to be of service within the given limitations.
