Plate Freezers (New)

Plate freezers and air blast freezers are the types of freezer most commonly used for freezing fish. Plate freezers do not have the versatility of air blast freezers and can only be used to freeze regularly shaped blocks and packages.
Promac plate freezers are constructed with a heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel skid and mounted with hydraulic twin rams ensuring a stable and even plate pressure. Double contact plate freezing ia a fast and economic way of freezing due to double contact with the product packing.
Furthermore, the fast, low temperature freezing maintains the natural quality of the product.

Horizontal Plate Freezers
About half of our Horizontal Plate Freezers are installed on fishing vessels around the world. They chiefly provide rapid freezing of whole fish, fish fillets, shrimps and prawns of all sizes. After freezing products are normally kept in the onboard frozen stores for further processing on shore.
The remainder of these freezers are installed on shore and are used for the rapid freezing of seafood, meats and meat products, poultry, vegetables, and other food products.
Vertical Plate Freezers
The DSI PFP 2000 series is a compact, self-contained plate freezer which needs only be connected to a cooling water and power supply to be ready for the freezing cycle.
This complete refrigeration system includes a highly efficient, two-stage compressor, a sea water condenser, a liquid separator, complete piping and wiring, temperature control, and all the necessary safety devices.
The top section of the plate freezer incorporates a highly efficient DSI plate freezer built into the 30 mm PVC-based non-absorbent sandwich panels with white surfaces.
